15 Central Park West
New York
Robert A.M. Stern Architects
2007
In 2007, Henraux was involved, alongside some of the most prestigious New York architectural firms, in the construction of 15 Central Park West, an extraordinary ultra-luxury residential complex overlooking New York's green lung.

The building is majestic not only for its prominent location and not even for the double structure, whose maximum height reaches up to the 35th floor, but also for some stylistic choices in which every detail has been carefully studied so that the structure can integrate seamlessly with the existing buildings. 15 Central Park West joins the series of luxury residential buildings that line Central Park West for two kilometers.

Entirely clad in limestone, the building blends perfectly into the surrounding environment, with its warm colors matching the light-colored bricks of the existing historic structures, while contrasting with the darker reflections of the new buildings. Henraux contributed to the realization of the sumptuous lobby, accessed through a large door facing Central Park West, also made of limestone.

The synergy between the exteriors and interiors is evident: the large lobby is designed in English oak and features some of the world's finest Italian and French marbles: Henraux has indeed used exceptional natural stones including Bardiglio, Jura Beige, Sarrancolin, and Magni Le Louvre. The choice of these materials, along with the finishes/textures used, gives the lobby a warm, sophisticated, and welcoming atmosphere at the same time, with the four Sarrancolin columns adding considerable "sumptuousness."

15 Central Park West is an important project in one of the world's most prestigious and well-known locations, not just any residential structure, but a space that - thanks also to Henraux's contribution - manages to emanate timeless beauty.
