Luce di Carrara at Salone del Mobile 2018

Born from important collaborations with internationally renowned designers and interior designers, the latest proposals by Luce di Carrara from Henraux present themselves at the most anticipated date of the year for design, the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Dutch designers Scholten & Baijings will be the particular highlights for Luce di Carrara with the project "Pattern", new and extraordinary coverings presented in Dot, Diamond, Square and Stripe versions. These solutions demonstrate the combination of the most precious of materials, marble, joined with a high-performance materials such as resin, for the very first time.

Luce di Carrara will be present at the Salone and Fuori Salone during Milan Design Week. Itlas, a Venetian company with revolutionary products and attitude towards conception and philosophy will be at the stand. The company, led by Patrizio Dei Tos, is among the world leaders in interior design projects. At the stand, which is located in the Salone Internazionale del Bagno section, Itlas and Luce di Carrara launch the Linea collection, distinguished by the aluminum structures of the pre-defined furniture that compose it.
It is a clean and visually striking collection that can be modified over time and, above all, can be customized thanks to the possibility of combining the wood - a raw material which is always present in Itlas’ creations and productions - with elements made from other materials. The solution presented during the Salone proposes a combination of wood and marble, thanks to the collaboration with Itlas and Luce di Carrara, a Henraux brand that here, as always, is a world-leader in the processing of marble, the unique and extraordinary material, taken from precisely the same Apuan source once used by Michelangelo. Dot from the new patterns by Scholten & Baijings is also being exhibited.

Luce di Carrara is highlighted at Fuori Salone in Show Room Santa Sofia 27, the space which that has been the Milanese address of Luce di Carrara for about a year. Here an entire area, which is renovated for the occasion, will be dedicated to the bathroom projects and the Scholten & Baijings Patterns. This is an innovative project that aims to reveal the beauty of matched and tended marble and the most contemporary design, in a concept of a combination of brands and completely innovative materials, whose design was supervised by the architect Ezio Riva.
Today, marble has fully returned to indoor projects, revealing itself in its preciousness and above all, thanks to the work of world-renowned designers, succeeding in its prerogative of creating a unique space from any environment in which it is welcomed. Scholten & Baijings and Luce di Carrara have taken up the challenge of telling the story of marble today and at the Show Room Santa Sofia 27, the new project will speak for itself.
